white ash has a distribution across eastern north america.  hard and durable, the material has open, swirly grain and is light brown to cream in color in its raw state.  skram offers two standard finishes for white ash:  ebonized and whitewashed.  ebonized uses dyes and pigments to produce a rich black hue with subtle, warm brown undertones.  whitewashed produces a transparent whitened effect but leaves the character of the grain unaffected.
