indigenous to eastern north america, skram’s cherry is hand-selected for consistent color.  cherry presents as pink/red in tone when new and quickly darkens to a rich red/brown.   skram finishes the material with shellac sealer coats followed by multiple clear topcoats of commercial grade, non-toxic polyurethane.  the finish is full-fill and the sheen is flat.
